There are four great resources you should check out right now:
Screencast-O-Matic – This allows for easy recording of your screen. When you are finished with the videos, upload them to Google Drive, and share them with your students. This is great tool to aid in comprehension and ease teacher frustration. I use it in web development to demonstrate concepts and allow students to work at their own pace. There is also an iPad version.
Kahoot! – Gamify your lesson! Whatever smart device in the room (phones, tablets, desktops) turns into a free buzzer (clicker). Students compete against each other while they review. You create the review questions and students select the answer in a timely manner. The quicker they respond the higher their score! It also broadcasts all of their scores as an option. When the quiz is over download the excel results to track comprehension.
PollEverywhere – Give students a new way to respond instead of raising their hand. Create a question or ask for feedback while you are presenting and students are given the freedom to type their questions and hear their response.
Edsurge – Want to hear about the latest and greatest in technology? Check out EdSurge! Keep up to date on the latest trends in technology
