If you want to create tutorials you will need to download screencast-o-matic (really easy to do) and upload your tutorials once they are finished to TeacherTube. TeacherTube is like youtube for teachers and it is not blocked by any firewalls.
Screencast-O-Matic – This allows for easy recording of your screen. When you are finished with the videos, upload them to Google Drive, and share them with your students. This is great tool to aid in comprehension and ease teacher frustration. I use it in web development to demonstrate concepts and allow students to work at their own pace. There is also an iPad version.
TeacherTube – is a video sharing website similar to, and based on, YouTube. It is designed to allow those in the educational industry, particularly teachers, to share educational resources such as video, audio, documents, photos, groups and blogs. The site contains a mixture of classroom teaching resources and others designed to aid teacher training. A number of students have also uploaded videos that they have made as part of K-12 and college courses.
